Bobbie Williams has been an inspiration to women in sport for over 26 years, she has proven that with hard work and dedication, anyone at any age can achieve their goals. Bobbie has been a student of Coach Troy for 11 years and became a Triathlon Academy Coach in 1999. She was trained as a coach by Coach Troy and later became certified as a USAT coach. She has coached athletes of all ages from children to seniors in their 60's.Bobbie's rise to the top of her age group was swift and over the past 26 years she has completed nearly 70 triathlons. Along the way, she has gained the respect and admiration of everyone with whom she comes in contact. Her example of the athletic lifestyle has inspired many to attempt challenges they never dreamed they could do. I did my first triathlon in 1983 when the sport was in its infancy. I have seen many changes and the growth of the sport is fantastic. Since the sport's inception I have made it my business to stay up to date on training techniques and theories.
